Middle East's First No-Frills Airline, MenaJet ,
Gets Set for Launch, Unveils New Corporate Identity

Aircraft to don new, vibrant livery that reflects the value of low-cost flying

Beirut, August 06, 2004: The Middle East's first no-frills airline, MenaJet , which is set to take to the skies shortly, today unveiled a new exciting and dynamic corporate identity that reflects the spirit of true low-cost flying,   transparency in operations, structuring of fares and cutting-edge efficiency in service.

Announcing the new corporate identity, Mr. Mazen Hajjar, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), MenaJet , said that the low-cost airline was in the middle of accelerated preparations for the upcoming launch of its services from Beirut in Lebanon.

"The new corporate image unveiled today will enhance and add value to MenaJet 's core concept of bringing air travel within the affordable reach of many in the intra-Arab region. It will also highlight the dynamism that MenaJet seeks to infuse into the growing regional Arab travel market," Mr. Hajjar said.

"Low fares create and expand new markets. Our customers will range from people who would normally not fly, to regular travelers, such as expatriates and people with regional holiday homes, business travelers and those looking for short holiday breaks. Our typical customer is value-driven and may be enticed to travel more frequently if the right opportunity at the right price presented itself," he added.

As part of the new corporate identity, MenaJet aircraft will also don vibrant and well-designed colourful livery, reflecting the élan of flying, friendliness and warmth the airline will ensure in its day-to-day operations.

"We want to make a statement with the new livery on our aircraft, that we are different. The design of the livery is specifically conceived to demarcate the airline and to give an unequivocal impression of quality that will form the hallmark of our airline in every aspect of its operations," Mr. Hajjar said.

Mr. Karl Bassil, Partner & Creative Director of Mind the gap, the agency that created the corporate identity for MenaJet said: "Reflective of its creative, vibrant and innovative personality, the new logo of MenaJet accurately reflects the reality of the company as a breakaway brand that will bring international best practices to the regional low-cost aviation sector."

The new identity sports vivid blue and yellow colours, representing growth and resilience, and reflecting MenaJet 's commitment to deliver a fresh experience to air travelers in the region.
